Sunday -- 8:45 - 10:30 am
Wednesday -- 1:00 - 4:00 pm
The collection includes Bible study, inspirational and devotional works, biographies of great Christians, church history, guides for Christian living, marriage, parenting, Christian fiction and many other topics for all ages. 
The church library is more than books and magazines. It provides audio and  video (AV) resources with appropriate equipment. 
Mission Statement
The mission of the Church Library Ministry in the First Family, First Southern Baptist Church, is to provide resources and services which advance learning about God, stimulate Christian growth, enrich worship experiences, and enable the ministries of the members and leaders of our church.
How to check out materials
  • Members of the church, the community or someone that is attending the church can check out items from the library.

  • Books, magazines and vertical file items may be checked out for 2 weeks with the option to renew, unless it has been reserved for another member. 

  • All audio visual items (CD's, DVD's, etc.) are loaned out for 1 week.

  • An adult may check out 10 books and 3 AV items at a time.

  • With a present parent's permission at check out, children may check out 10 books & 3 AV items at a time.

  • No fines will be collected for over-due items. The library asks that you be prompt in returning items so others may enjoy them.

  • When media is lost or damaged the user is held responsible for the replacement cost.

Memorial, Honor and other Gifts
Gifts to the library can be lasting and beneficial to large numbers of people. Such gifts may be arranged through the church office or the library staff. Selections will be made in areas of need.
