Music Ministry
Music has always been very important in worshiping God. The Bible tells us to “Make a joyful Noise” with voice and instrument. In the First Family, we offer opportunities for ALL to participate in our corporate worship experience as we lift up our praises.
The adult choir helps lead us in singing our praises. The choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm to rehearse the music that has been selected to enhance the worship services (no rehearsals in July).
Instrumental opportunities are available for anyone interested in participating. We meet at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings to go over the music for the day. If you play an instrument and would like to join us, please let Juan Hernandez (Minister of Music) or Ellen Allison (Music Secretary) know so music will be available for you. Just call the church office at (602) 242-6104. Ellen can mail music to you early in the week if you so desire. Just ask!
